243,000 more jobs were added to the US economy in January continuing the upward trend on economic stability. Of course the new couldn’t come at a worst time as Mitt Romney and his dislike for the poor would have you believe the only way to recovery is lowering taxes for the rich and letting it trickle down. As Mitt Romney appears to be shaping up to be the Republican nominee he wants to you to know he doesn’t care about poor people. In his stomps he consistently says he doesn’t worry about poor people well because they have a “crutch”. I am not sure what crutch poor people have but he clearly could not explain it when Soledad O’Brien of CNN asked him flat-out about this crutch. We live in a world were we should have no delusions about our government, The Democrats have too many social programs, and the Republicans want to reward the rich and pretend they are going to “trickle” it down to us all instead of shipping the jobs to 3rd world countries and pocketing the trickle to themselves. We all know the Republicans have made no qualms they don’t want you to have insurance, they don’t care if you have a job , and they think the despite the growing population heading into poverty levels Mitt thinks you have a crutch . Well November will be here before you know it so just remember to show up to the polls and vote. In Captain Obvious news of the day Mitt Romney easily wins the Florida primary and finally is the front runner for the republican party, however Newt Gingrich vows to take the fight all the way to the republication convention. Romney spent a bundle in FL to secure his win, hiring a debate coach that clearly was worth every penny and sending out the Romney attack dogs in commercials across the state. If this past week wasn’t bad enough for the former speaker of the house it just got worse as Sarah Palin stepped in to defend him and endorse him. That is all he needed is Alaska’s former governor defending his ties with Ronald Regan and urging Republican’s to rally behind him. Gingrich was soundly beaten last week in debates against Romney and looks to be losing momentum in his campaign. Read Sarah’s eloquent defense here:http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0112/72196.html and tell us what you think of Gingrich’s new ally.
When Newt Gingrich mollywhopped Mitt Romney in South Carolina the former Speaker of the House had momentum going his way and the polls began to show him closing in on Romney. Romney used his money to hire a debate coach and has complely owned Newt Gingrich and the polls are beginning to show it. Romney is widening his lead on Gingrich in Florida by beating him at his own game. Mitt now says he is ready too debate Obama and many of the republicans seem to be falling in line. Newt says he won’t stop his campaign until the Republican convention this summer. Never one to back down from a verbal lashing Vice Presdient Joe Biden called Newt Gingrich’s “food stamp” quips ridiculous and chalked them up to Newt appealing to his base for the strange remarks. Biden chose to focus on reinforcing President Obama’s call to make taxes fair between the rich and middle class , and hopes because it’s an election year congress will finally try to get things done. President Obama delivered his State of the Union address last night for the 3rd time in his presidency and it was his most confident one yet. The President came out swinging last night against the Republican congress who have used their time to stifle the President refusing to work with him. The President didn’t lay out any new objectives, they were the same he originally had but made it clear to the Republicans he is in top shape and ready to fight to keep his office. The confident President also berated millionaires and billionaires crying about paying taxes when most like Mitt Romney pay taxes at a lower percentage than middle class. What do you think of the President’s speech let us know in the comments or on twitter @mediamyxx @akireshenri
