Mediamyxx:Hip Hop Hooray

As a girl raised in the hip hop era I was overjoyed to find out style maven June Ambrose was getting her own show. June is responsible for the Shiny Suits Puff wore and the Mary J that was so hood and so fly. She is responsible to emancipating Mimi’s breast from a shirt and turning Jay-z into a grown man burning his jeans and jersey for a more refined grown up look. June is the official stylist of the US version of the X factor and that is great considering she got her start working at MCA Records. June’s show Styled by June, premieres in March on VH1 and the maven finally is getting her just due in the world of fashion. Billboard put out their power 100 list and you can see the men and women behind the scenes who make the money off your favorite artist. The only artist to actually make the list are Jay-z and Beyonce, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga ,U2,  and Jon Bon Jovi. Mediamyxx:For Hits: Oprah is Blue Ivy’s Godmother

Blue Ivy Carter is not even 1 month old yet and she has spawned more rumors and stays in the news more than anyone. First it was the issue around her special birth, then a man named his clothing company Blue Ivy Carter clothing in an attempt to make money off her name. Well the source is known for being 99.9% inaccurate about anything but in the .001% chance they are right Oprah is allegedly the infants Godmother . Her Godfather is allegedly Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith, Jay-z’s longtime friend. If it is not true well it should be expected if it is score for Blue Ivy. What do you think hit us up @mediamyxx @akireshenri

Mediamyxx:40/40 closed for Health Code Violations

In not surprising news Jay-z 40/40 club was briefly shut down for health code violations. The restaurant received a grade C by the state after an inspection. This is even more interesting since the club just reopened this week after being closed for renovations and repairs. I know that Jay is loyal to his friends that came through the struggle with him but just maybe he should look outside his group of friends to manage this club. The 40/40 has a long line of documented issues over the past years. Mediamyxx:It’s a Girl

Beyonce and her husband Jay-z (Shawn Carter) welcomed their baby girl yesterday. According to reports the baby was born via C-section and mother and baby are doing fine. Beyonce announced her pregnancy during the 2011 VMA’s and her pregnancy has fascinated the world. Congrats from us here at Mediamyxx and welcome to the world Blue Ivy Carter.

Hello Hello Baby Blue!

We are happy to announce the arrival of our beautiful daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born on Saturday, January 7, 2012.

Her birth was emotional and extremely peaceful, we are in heaven.

She was delivered naturally at a healthy 7 lbs and it was the best experience of both of our lives.

We are thankful to everyone for all your prayers, well wishes, love and support.

As 2012 was ushered in Mediamyxx is conducting our final end of year list for 2011. We will countdown the top ten entertainment stories of 2011.  The biggest story of 2011 was the revelation Beyonce and Jay-z were going to have a baby.
